Coordinate the path from an agreed requirement to shipment.
Once a buyer and seller have aligned on the product, quantity and commercial basis, Manifest helps organise the information and third-party handovers needed to move the transaction forward.
What Manifest coordinates
Services depend on the commodity, destination, Incoterm and partners selected for the transaction.
Product confirmation
Reconfirm the agreed specification, quantity, packaging, availability window and loading location.
Inspection and sampling
Record the buyer's inspection requirements and coordinate introductions to an agreed independent provider.
Transaction documents
Track documents required under the contract, Incoterm and destination-market requirements.
Freight handover
Coordinate introductions and information exchange with the freight forwarder, carrier or logistics provider selected for the shipment.
Payment milestones
Record the payment structure agreed by the buyer and seller and coordinate with an approved banking or payment provider where applicable.
Responsibilities
Manifest coordinates marketplace and transaction information unless a written agreement states otherwise. Inspection companies, laboratories, freight providers, banks, payment providers, customs agents and insurers remain responsible for the services they separately contract to provide.
The buyer and seller remain responsible for approving the contract, specification, Incoterm, payment terms and transaction counterparties.
